Fraud perpetrated using cards is an increasing area of concern, and Adam & Company have added extra security features to both the Visa charge cards and the Select debit card in an effort to reduce our losses and minimise the distress and inconvenience to our clients when cards are blocked. Chip & PIN is now an industry standard method of verifying identity when making purchases, and this is more secure than signature verification. All our cards are Chip & PIN protected as a matter of course, although alternatives are offered for clients who are unable to use this technology. If you are unable to use a PIN due to a disability or medical condition please contact your Relationship Manager to discuss alternative options.
Adam Secure is an internet based security mechanism provided in association with the Visa and Maestro networks. An increasing number of internet suppliers are subscribing to the service, which adds a level of security and peace of mind when making purchases using the internet.
