What to do if you’re affected by the collapse of Flybe.

All flights offered by Flybe and Stobart air have been cancelled after the company went into administration on 5 March. Flybe and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) have both made statements with more information about what’s going on.
If you’ve made travel arrangements through Flybe or Stobart Air, here’s a guide to what you can do to get your travel plans back on track, and what we can do to help.
Be alert to suspicious approaches from anyone claiming to be from the bank or Flybe, either over the phone or via text or email. Trusted organisations will NEVER ask you for your full PIN or password, card reader codes, or ask you to move money from your account.
I am stranded and can’t get home
In the immediate term, you’ll need to find some other way to get home.

Can I get my money back?
You may be able to get a refund for your flight under certain circumstances. We suggest you explore your options in this order.
If you booked your flight through a travel agent
You may be covered by the Air Travel Organisers Licence service (ATOL) provided by the CAA. This only covers flights where the agent is ATOL protected or if you received an official ATOL receipt when you booked your flight.
What you should do – Check your receipts to see if you have ATOL coverage – this may be an email. If so, you can make a claim by completing a claim form on the CAA website here.
If you paid using an Adam credit/charge or debit card
You may be able to get a refund if you paid by card. Call Adam 24 on 0131 278 3777.
For Adam Black cardholders
If you can’t get a refund through either of the routes above, and you paid for the flight using your Adam Black Card then you may be entitled to some recovery of cost using the travel insurance benefit. Terms and conditions apply.
